Text & Document Tools
We gathered the tools you need for text and document work in one place. Pick the one you need and give it a try.
How to choose a tool
Use character count for a character limit and word count for space-delimited vocabulary. Use text diff to find additions and deletions, Lorem Ipsum for placeholder layout text, and Markdown preview to inspect rendered syntax. Counting, comparison, generation, and rendering produce different kinds of results, so check the submission rule first.
For a 60-character title limit, first decide whether line breaks and spaces count, then read the counter's fields. Keep original and revised document order fixed in a diff so additions are clear. For Markdown, inspect source symbols as well as preview: heading levels, list indentation, link targets, and closed code fences.
How to verify the result
Keep the original separately and check whether encoding, newline style, and invisible spaces affect results. A visible character can use multiple code units, as with Hangul, emoji, or combining marks, and word boundaries differ by language. Paste the same sample into the target editor or submission system and compare its count.
Most text tools run in the browser, but avoid entering passwords, keys, or confidential contracts. Text diff does not judge meaning or plagiarism, and Markdown preview does not reproduce every extension or security filter on the destination. Recheck spelling, links, citation sources, and the final platform's real view.
