    How to use this tool

    2. Inspect the grid; leftover pixels are distributed along the boundaries.
    3. Generate the tile ZIP and inspect its row-and-column filenames.

Split a banner into three panels

    Input and settings
1000×600 image, one row and three columns
    Result
Tiles of 333, 333 and 334px, covering all 1000 source pixels.

    How boundary pixels are handled

Tiles are created left to right and top to bottom. Integer boundaries cover every source pixel exactly once even when a dimension is not divisible by the chosen grid. A split is limited to 64 tiles, and rows or columns cannot exceed the source pixel dimensions.

Publishing order depends on the destination

ZIP filenames include row and column numbers to make the intended arrangement visible. Social platforms and print services may apply their own upload order, spacing or automatic crop, so inspect the tiles before publishing. No print bleed or decorative frame is added automatically.

    Common questions

    Can I create irregular pieces?

This tool makes a uniform grid. Save irregular regions separately with the crop tool, or use collage when you need to arrange multiple pictures on one canvas.
