How processing works and its limits

Tools read selected files or entered values and process them in the browser. This page separates working input, saved results and requests needed to visit the website.

From input to output

File tools check the selected format before reading it into browser memory. Image settings, pixel drawing and many text and calculation tools update results or previews while you work. Larger tasks use an action button. Random generation, draws and timers start only when you explicitly run them.

  • Input: read the selected file, text, number or date.
  • Process: convert or calculate using device code and memory.
  • Review: show an output, preview or error.
  • Save: use the download or copy option available for that tool.

Upload and local storage are different

Tool inputs and outputs are not uploaded, sent to analytics, recorded in URLs or saved in persistent browser storage. Closing or reloading the page resets the current work.

Choosing Download or Copy can leave a result in a folder or on the clipboard. The Privacy Notice distinguishes language/theme preferences from the separate cookies and consent data used on advertising pages.

Processing limits

The per-file limit is 25 × 1,024 × 1,024 bytes, labeled 25 MB in the interface. Photo editors and PDF tools that accept multiple files allow up to twelve files totaling 75 × 1,024 × 1,024 bytes. Tools for editing or extracting one PDF use a single document.

Photo sources and results are limited to twenty-four million pixels and 10,000 pixels per side; solid-background removal allows eight million pixels. Photo-editor output is capped at 128 files and 150 MB per operation. Pixel art supports 4–128 cells per side, twelve frames and sixteen layers. PDF input and output allow five hundred pages, while PDF image export allows twenty pages with additional pixel limits. Tool-specific lower limits take priority, and device memory may require smaller batches.

Format-dependent differences

Photo editors support JPG, PNG and WebP, with available outputs varying by tool. JPG fills transparency using the selected or default background color. Animated images loaded into photo tools become a single frame, and original metadata is not copied. Frames created in the pixel-art editor have a separate GIF export option.

PDF rebuilding does not preserve annotations, forms, digital signatures or bookmarks. There is no PDF password removal or OCR text recognition. Check each tool’s examples and constraints against the intended use.

Local computation still needs page requests

Requests fetch HTML, tool JavaScript, fonts and PDF assets. Requesting a page is different from uploading the contents entered into a tool. This is not an offline application guaranteed to run every tool without a connection.

When advertising is used, its code is limited to guide detail pages. Tool pages contain no advertising or consent-management scripts. The Privacy Notice shows the current advertising state.

The environment outside the page

Installed extensions, screen sharing and clipboard access by other applications are outside this site’s control. Use a trusted device for personal information and check where results are saved and whether they are shared.
