    How to use this tool

    1. Load a picture; its original dimensions populate the controls. Check the aspect lock.
    2. Change width, height or percentage, or drag the preview corner.
    3. Compare proportions and sharpness with the original, then generate the result.

    Input and settings
640×480, aspect unlocked, width 600 and height 200
    Result
600×200; stretch changes proportions, while cover crops the center.

    Aspect lock, stretch and cover

With aspect lock enabled, changing one dimension calculates the other from the original ratio. Unlock it and choose stretch to control both independently. Cover fills the requested rectangle while preserving proportions and cropping the center; contain fits the entire picture and leaves padding.

    When enlarging a small original

Dragging and numeric fields change the same dimensions. Use the width and height inputs or the handle arrow keys when dragging is inconvenient. Enlargement interpolates between existing pixels; it does not recover unreadable text or details that were never present in the source.

    Common questions

Does byte size change in the same proportion?

No. Format, quality and picture complexity also affect file size. Pixel dimensions update immediately; the final byte size is shown after generation.
