Limits and checks before use
Each input is limited to 50,000 characters and 1,000 lines. Complex differences stop at time/edit-distance limits. This is neither a plagiarism test nor a Git patch file.
Common questions
Does one changed character mark the entire line?
Yes. Lines are the comparison units. Review the original files as well when inspecting fine-grained code changes.
