Clean quotation marks and horizontal spacing
- Input and settings
- “Hello” world
- Result
- "Hello" world
With straight quotes, collapsed spaces and trimmed lines enabled.
Processing rules and reading the result
NFC composes canonically equivalent characters; NFKC also changes compatibility forms such as full-width characters. Line endings become LF; horizontal-space cleanup includes tabs and Unicode spaces.
Limits and checks before use
Up to 500,000 characters. Removing zero-width characters can change joined emoji and some writing systems. NFKC can erase distinctions in compatibility or mathematical characters, so it is not enabled automatically.
