Files are processed in this tab. Adding files clears the preceding edit-undo history.

Processing limits, storage and format notes

Each input is limited to 25 MiB (shown as 25 MB), with a 75 MiB input total and up to 12 files. Generated files together and the ZIP individually are also capped at 75 MiB. Processing may still fail within these caps if the browser lacks available memory.

Each source PDF and the total currently loaded source-page count are capped at 500. Password-protected PDFs are rejected and no password is collected.

Input files and results are not sent to an external service or written to browser persistent storage. Editing, undo and previews use this tab’s memory and are cleared when leaving the page. Downloaded files remain on your device.

Cancellation is checked between processing stages and may take a moment during a large save or ZIP operation.

The new PDF does not preserve original annotation, form, digital-signature or bookmark functionality. This is not a complete security-sanitization process for every hidden object associated with page content.

Originals are not overwritten. Reloading or closing clears files and results from this tab; downloaded files remain on your device.

    How to use this tool

    1. Choose PDFs or try the sample files to explore page editing.
    2. Adjust document and individual page order, then preview exclusions and rotation.
    3. Merge the PDFs, inspect the generated first-page preview and download the document.

Combine a cover and a body document

    Input and settings
A one-page cover and a three-page body; exclude the final body page
    Result
A three-page PDF containing cover, body page 1 and body page 2

Moving a document regroups its current page entries into one block.

Work at both document and page level

Use the document list for whole-file ordering and the thumbnail grid to move individual pages across document boundaries. A later document move regroups the pages belonging to that file; review the detailed sequence after your final whole-document adjustment.

Excluded pages remain visible as dimmed cards but are omitted from the output. Restore them with the Include checkbox or Undo edit. Selecting a card opens a larger preview with its source file, physical page number and additional rotation.

    Review the merged document

Page dimensions and the original orientation are retained rather than forcing every page onto one paper size. Mixed-size pages can coexist. A card showing 0 degrees means no extra rotation was added; an existing rotation in the source PDF is still honored.

Only the 12 thumbnails in the current view are rendered, and the large preview has its own pixel cap. That preview size does not downsample the page content copied to the saved PDF. Reopen the download in a PDF viewer to verify the final page count and order.

Prepare a mixed-size document for printing

Because merging copies the existing page dimensions, review the printer’s fitting settings for each page afterward. A small cover and a large drawing may need different print scaling.

Remove in the document list excludes every entry belonging to that file from the edit. To omit only one sheet, uncheck Include on its page card.

    Common questions

Can pages from one document be inserted between another document’s pages?

Yes. Drag page cards or use their move controls. Moving a whole document afterward regroups entries by document.

Will merging make the files smaller?

This is not a compression tool. Rebuilding pages may increase or decrease the size, with no guaranteed reduction.
