Paper, text and margins

Supported content, limits and storage

Markdown headings, emphasis, lists, tables, code and PNG/JPEG data images are supported. Raw HTML is shown as text, never executed. External images, clickable links, equation typesetting and specialized extensions are not supported.

Long paragraphs, code and table cells wrap and continue across pages. Ordinary table headers repeat on following pages. Extremely long headers, merged cells and nested tables may differ from the original. For complex documents, exporting from the original authoring application may be more suitable.

Limits per conversion: 3,000 blocks, 10,000 table cells / 20 columns, 50 images (16 MP each / 32 MP total), 200 pages and 75 MiB output. Parsing has a 20-second budget and conversion 120 seconds. Cancellation may take longer during a large PDF save. Processing can fail within the limits due to browser memory.

Original files, input, previews and results remain in this tab’s memory. Clear, reload or close removes them; back navigation may restore tab state. Downloads remain on your device. Only required self-hosted fonts and processing code are fetched; tool input is not sent.

PDF fonts are self-hosted. Korean/Latin regular and bold each load about 2 MB; Chinese, Japanese, Greek or Cyrillic text may additionally load about 6.5 MB per regular/bold bundle on first use. Font requests contain no document content. Unsupported characters or emoji produce an error.

How to use this tool

  1. Open a UTF-8 Markdown file or paste content. Load the example to try headings, tables and code first.
  2. Review the content preview and conversion notes, then choose paper, orientation, margins and body text size.
  3. Create the PDF, browse the actual saved-copy preview and download the file.

Share a README checklist, table and code as PDF

Input and settings
# Work log - [x] Review body - [ ] Final review | Item | Status | | --- | --- | | Document | Draft | ```python print("review") ```
Result
A PDF containing the heading, retained checklist states, two-column table and literal code

Python code never runs. Website themes and external images are not included. Check page numbering and table layout in the PDF preview.

Rebuild a readable document with pagination

For a README, release note or meeting record, use headings, bold/italic emphasis, ordered or bullet lists, checklist states, GFM tables and code blocks. Body text wraps to the chosen paper and margins with page breaks as needed. Latin code uses a monospace font; Korean and other supported scripts use supplied embedded fonts.

Long table cells continue across pages. Ordinary headers repeat on following pages, but a header occupying a large part of a page may not repeat. Use landscape paper or smaller text for wide tables, and review every column in the download.

HTML and external links are never executed

Raw HTML inside Markdown remains visible text. Scripts, event handlers and widgets do not run, and external images or stylesheets are not fetched. Links retain their label text without creating clickable PDF links.

PNG/JPEG data images are checked against header and pixel limits before inclusion. SVG, video, equation typesetting and specialized extensions are not supported. This is a document reflow tool, not a screenshot or exact replica of the original editor; complex documents may be better exported by their authoring application.

Distinguish content preview from the actual saved PDF

The side preview helps review headings, body text and tables quickly. It displays only part of long documents; final conversion uses the complete supported content within processing limits. After Create PDF, the lower preview shows actual pages of the generated file.

Input is limited to 6 MiB of UTF-8, 400,000 body characters, 3,000 blocks and 10,000 table cells total. Up to 50 images, 16 MP per image and 32 MP total are accepted. PDF output is capped at 200 pages and 75 MiB. Originals, input and results are not uploaded or written to persistent browser storage.

Common questions

Will the PDF look exactly like a GitHub README?

No. Supported Markdown content is rebuilt for document paper, without GitHub themes, CSS, widgets or external pictures. Use landscape paper or smaller body text for wide tables or code and inspect the saved copy.

Will JavaScript or HTML in the Markdown run?

No. HTML remains text, and scripts, external images and stylesheets are not loaded. Ordinary links also retain only their label text.

Are long table rows or code lines cut off?

Supported text wraps and continues across pages when needed. Exceeding page or character limits produces an error instead of silently saving a truncated document. Try landscape orientation and smaller text for wide tables.

Can I search the PDF text?

Body text is saved as PDF text with embedded fonts, so supported characters can be selected and searched. Text inside images is not OCRed, and unsupported characters produce an error.
