item1 item2 item10

Natural sort compares numeric groups numerically.

Processing rules and reading the result

Deduplication retains the first occurrence. Lexical and numeric-aware natural sorting differ; reversal only reverses the existing order. Case and trimming options apply only when selected.

Limits and checks before use

Up to 500,000 characters and 10,000 lines. Removing numbers only targets leading digits followed by . or ) and whitespace. Check before applying it to data that genuinely starts with numbers.

Common questions

Which casing survives case-insensitive deduplication?

The first occurrence retains its spelling. Sorting is a separate operation.
