Is the generated password sent to a server?
No. The password is generated on your device using your browser's cryptographic randomness, and is not sent to or stored on a server.
How do I create a secure password?
The longer it is and the more you mix uppercase, lowercase, digits, and symbols, the safer it is. We recommend at least 12 characters and a different password for each site.
What is 'exclude similar characters'?
It removes characters that are easy to confuse by eye, such as the digit 0 and capital O, or the digit 1 and lowercase l, to reduce mistakes when copying by hand.
