Four rounds of work and rest
- Input and settings
- Work 00:00:30; rest 00:00:10; 4 rounds
- Result
- Total 00:02:30; no rest after the final work round
Completion is indicated on the page. No sound or system notification is sent.
Choose the right timer control
Pause preserves elapsed time and Resume continues from that point. Stop clears elapsed time while keeping your chosen duration. Reset to initial values also restores the default input configuration, so it is distinct from simply stopping a run.
A stopwatch lap records both total elapsed time and the difference from the previous lap, up to 100 entries. Interval Skip moves to the end of the current work or rest phase. The final work period finishes the plan without appending another rest.
Background updates and device-clock limits
Elapsed time is calculated from the actual current clock and the start timestamp rather than subtracting one unit on every interval callback. If display updates are delayed in a background tab, the correct phase is recalculated when the page becomes visible.
Timing is not preserved through closing the tab or shutting down the device. System-clock changes can affect the reading. A period is at most 24 hours and an interval plan at most seven days; this page is not designed as an essential medical or safety alarm.
Common questions
Will it notify me after I close the tab?
No. The page does not register notification permissions or a background service; closing it clears the run.
Can I change the duration during a run?
Settings are locked while a run is active or paused. Stop or reset before changing the plan.
