Frequently asked questions
How does initial extraction work?
It pulls only the first consonant (initial) from each Korean character. For example, "안녕하세요" becomes "ㅇㄴㅎㅅㅇ".
What happens to non-Korean characters?
Non-Korean characters such as English letters, numbers, and symbols are kept as is. Turning on "Keep Korean only" leaves only the Korean initials and removes the rest.
