Frequently asked questions
How do I find a ratio (percentage)?
Divide the part value by the whole value and multiply by 100. For example, 40 out of 200 is 40 ÷ 200 × 100 = 20%.
How is the rate of change calculated?
It is (ending value − starting value) ÷ starting value × 100. Going from 100 to 120 is a 20% increase; from 100 to 80 is a 20% decrease.
Are the values I enter sent to a server?
No. All calculations happen inside your browser, and the values you enter are not sent to any external server.
